Reset Your Parenting: From Pandemic Mode to a New Normal
As we emerge from a year of limitations, how do we help our children feel a new sense of confidence, hope, and motivation?
It's time to talk about helping families – parents and children – hit that “reset button” to find a new normal as we emerge into a later phase of the pandemic with the promise of vaccines combined with continued need for caution. Out of necessity for the past year, we stayed home, schooling and working from under the same roof. We set new habits and routines, for good or not-so-good, to simply muddle through. Our habits and outlooks have settled in to focus on the limited things we COULD do while staying safe rather than seeing the big wide world and its possibilities.
As we emerge from a year of limitations, how do we help our children feel a new sense of confidence, hope, and motivation? What can parents do to reestablish structure with kids and foster their independence?
Learn specific strategies to:
- Focus on connecting with our children to support their resilience
- Re-examine and re-establish routines and limits collaboratively
- Resolve conflict when it arises
Registration includes access to the live webinar, handouts and resources, and audio/video recordings. For parents of children ages 5 and up.
