Cultivating Racial & Cultural Awareness in Children

Critical Topics in Parenting

Join us Thursday, October 15 at 7 pm ET for the fourth webinar in this free series, Critical Topics in Parenting.

In this webinar, parents will learn how the awareness of differences evolves in the minds of children as they grow. Their interpretations of difference manifest with or without guidance from parents, so why not be intentional in embracing diversity. Parents will gain:
  • Understanding of how family beliefs, customs and values, consciously and unconsciously assign meaning to those differences.
  • Practical tips for creating diversity in your children’s lives.
  • Strategies for helping children develop confidence and comfort when navigating diverse settings.

Registration includes access to video recording, an audio version to listen to podcast style, and handouts.
