The College Application Process: Helping Your Child Navigate Today’s Ever-Changing Journey
Juniors and Seniors have always agonized over the thought of “what am I going to do after high school?” If college is the route they want to take, the process can seem daunting. Now the changes brought about by COVID-19 are making the ride so turbulent many parents are finding themselves without a map.
Join us as we discuss ways to navigate the process, think more clearly while remaining flexible, and help you coach your child through this difficult time.

Your Instructor
Wendie Lubic is founder and educational consultant at The College Lady, where she brings a wealth of experience to her educational consulting with high school and college students on academics, college admissions, and college counseling. She is a Certified Educational Planner (CEP) and a professional member of HECA, NACAC and PCACAC and has taken classes in Independent Educational Consulting at UC Irvine. She is also a Certified Parent Educator with PEP, where she has taught classes for nearly 25 years, specializing in classes designed for parents of teens. Wendie's book "Preparing to Launch" (currently with a book agent) is designed to help parents stay calm and support their children through the college application process.
Robbye Fox is an independent college counselor and educational consultant with The College Lady, which provides academic advising, college counseling, college applications assistance and other support to high school and college students. She is also a Certified Parent Educator witht PEP, where she has taught classes for nearly 25 years, specializing in topics such as parenting through the teen years, planning for safe teen driving, managing technology use, and teaching responsible money management. In 2015, she was selected to serve on the Auburn University Parent Association Board where she provided parent feedback and perspective to the university on its programs and communications while also offering assistance to parents in the Midatlantic Region preparing to send their student to Auburn.
