Strategies for Building Executive Functioning Skills in Children: Summer Edition
Help your kids find direction and structure in the summer so they make the most of their time!
While strengthening executive functioning skills is an area of focus for kids with ADHD, ASD, and other forms of neurodiversity, any child can benefit from strategies to boost their ability to organize and complete tasks. In this webinar, a PEP Parent Educator and coach for parents of neurodiverse children will share strategies, supports and language for parents to set the stage for success in the summer months and beyond.
We will discuss strategies and scaffolds for supporting your children in setting and managing short-term and longer-term goals, as well as summer assignments for school.
In this webinar, you will learn:
- What executive functioning (EF) is and how EF challenges play out in our children's daily lives
- Concrete strategies and tips for helping your child manage time and tasks
- Concrete strategies and tips for supporting your child's emotional regulation in order to prioritize tasks better, maintain focus and transition between activities
Your enrollment includes access to the video recording, an audio version that you can listen to podcast-style, and handouts.

"I enjoyed the program. I really liked hearing the strategies and then a real life scenario that actually pertained to me and how to step-by-step use the strategy to solve the problem."

"I liked it! It's not always easy to attend classes in-person, so the online class is very convenient and conducive for both parents to participate."
