Class Description

Do you ever just say to yourself, Why is my kid acting this way?!

We love our children so much, but sometimes their behavior leaves us annoyed, frustrated, angry, or worried.

Maybe your child argues with you a lot and seems disrespectful of your parenting decisions, appears endlessly in need of your and/or others' attention, is hurtful to you and/or your partner, or seems to have given up -- on making friends, on school, or on life in general.

While we recognize that this behavior is challenging, we parents often don’t know how to make sense of it or make it better.

In this class, you'll learn to better understand your child, including the biological temperament that makes them who they are, as well as the "bump in the road" behaviors that can throw all of us parents for a loop.

Then, you'll learn to decode challenging behaviors and respond with proven strategies to improve well-worn parent-child interactions that lead to less conflict, more cooperation, and a better relationship with your child.

** NOTE ** This class builds on the concepts taught in Encouragement: Building Your Child's Confidence From the Inside Out.
