Live Webinar on Wednesday, September 23 | 8 - 9 pm ET
Wednesday, September 23 | 8 - 9 pm ET
For Parents of children age 2+
Presenters: Colleen Reed, PEP Program Director, and PEP Family Resiliency Program Facilitators Vanessa Cruz and Melat Wondimagegen
For busy families, the two most challenging times of the day are the morning and the evening. Add in school-year time pressure and these times can become a high-stakes battlefield.
Join a conversation to unpack the real chaos of morning mayhem & bedtime battles. Drawing on the presenters' own family stories and years of guiding other parents through these exact struggles, they'll illustrate how simple, practical PEP tools help motivate children to be ready to roll in the morning with everything they need, and to wind down at night in a way that ensures readiness for the next day.
In this webinar, you will learn how to:
- create productive habits for morning and night
- hand over the responsibility for things like getting dressed and managing homework
- avoid high-emotion moments when the clock is ticking
Your enrollment includes access to the video recording, an audio version that you can listen to podcast-style, and handouts.

Colleen Reed took her first PEP class when her son was 2 1/2 and a feisty, strong-willed toddler. New perspectives on parenting and new strategies to foster a cooperative relationship with her son transformed Colleen's family and professional life.
In addition to serving on the PEP staff and leading classes since 2012, she taught Music Together classes for 12 years where she put her PEP skills to work in understanding young children's needs in a group setting.
Colleen lives in the DC area with her husband, teenage son and a friendly flock of chickens.
"I enjoyed the program. I really liked hearing the strategies and then a real life scenario that actually pertained to me and how to step-by-step use the strategy to solve the problem."

"I liked it! It's not always easy to attend classes in-person, so the online class is very convenient and conducive for both parents to participate."
