Fighting, Hitting, and Biting: Challenging Behaviors in Toddlers & Preschoolers

Live Webinar / January 12 / 8 - 9 pm ET

The toddler - preschool years, between ages 2 and 5, bring a whirlwind of new developmental stages in children. As they grow and assert themselves -- how they manage their surroundings, how they express themselves, and what they think -- parents must find patience and vigilance to encourage their child's budding independence within reasonable limits.

One of the hardest moments for parents to keep their cool is when a young child hits, bites, or fights with another child.

Join us to explore:
  • Why these flare-ups happen and understanding how children develop through ages 2 - 5
  • How to teach your child acceptable outlets for frustration
  • How to respond as a parent in a respectful, effective way
  • What to do when your preschooler acts aggressively towards a baby or younger sibling
Registration includes access to the live webinar, audio/video recordings, and handouts.

In addition to serving on the PEP staff and leading classes since 2012, she taught Music Together classes for 12 years where she put her PEP skills to work in understanding young children's needs in a group setting.

Colleen lives in the DC area with her husband, teenage son and a friendly flock of chickens.
