Encouragement is the KEY ingredient that makes all other parenting strategies work. And really understanding how to encourage your child is not as easy as it sounds. In this class you'll learn encouragement strategies and techniques that will make your family life run more smoothly and make your child become more resilient, independent, and cooperative.
This self-paced class begins Saturday, November 3 and ends Friday, November 30.
How the Class Works
Every Saturday for 4 weeks, starting November 3, you’ll receive a new 5-minute video lesson from PEP, plus Try This At Home exercises, PEP articles, and handy printouts to help you stay on track. Then, each Monday (9-10 pm ET) for 4 weeks, beginning November 5, join us for a live Q&A video conference where we will answer your questions. You'll also be part of a 24/7 private class discussion forum where you can share results and post questions. PLUS - the video lessons and other materials will be available to you for one year!
This Course Includes
4 Instructional Video Lessons that are short (5-6 minutes each) and packed with practical tips and advice to use right away. Video lessons include role plays so that you can see real life examples of what to say and do, and what NOT to say and do!
5 "Try This At Home" Exercises so that you can put each lesson into immediate practice with your family.
5 Topical PEP Parenting Articles so that you can dig deeper into the topics.
7 Handy printouts with examples and language that you can use with your children, and which you can post nearby to keep you on track.
4 Live, Q&A video conference sessions with your PEP class instructor who will answer your questions (you can post them in advance).
Enrollment in a private Class Discussion Forum for 4 weeks, where you will receive weekly inspirational thoughts and more tips from your class instructor to keep you going!
How Much Time Will This Take?
That depends on you. Reviewing the instructional videos and handouts will take about 20-30 minutes. The Try This At Home exercises are designed to fit into and improve your every day life. The Q&A Video Conference is 1 hour each week, which you can join live or watch a recording later. And the Class Discussion Forum takes as much or as little time as you want to contribute. As always, the more you participate, the more you benefit.
